Mo Naga

Moranngam Khaling or Mo Naga is a trained fashion designer, graduated from the National Institute of Fashion Technology in Hyderabad, Mo Naga then got in tattoo art. His first tattoo studio, Headhunters Ink, was launched in Nagaland in 2012. He has now launched a conceptualised tattoo studio titled ‘Godna Gram – The Tattoo Village’, in New Delhi.

After an intensive four years of research and travelling, mostly to the interior villages of bordering Myanmar, Mo Naga has been working tirelessly to revive the dying tribal tattoo art. The studio will project itself as a one-stop centre to build a global connect and also invite tattoo artists from other parts of the country to practice and promote their art.

Lokesh Verma

Lokesh Verma was one of the first people to start inking in India and now specialises in realistic images. He is an internationally experienced artist who has worked at places like USA, Amsterdam, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Sweden and Paris is a veteran tattoo artist specialising in Coloured and Black and grey tattoos.

With a variety of tattoo designs he offers, the option for bespoke artistry and high safety standards are a given in Lokesh’s tattoo haven.

Sameer Patange

Graduated from Rachana Sansad School of Art, Sameer Patange started his journey into the art of tattooing at a tender age of 18 years, and now he is known as a celebrity tattoo artist. He has tattooed some of the biggest names in Bollywood including Hrithik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt, and Salman Khan.

He is one of the pioneer artists, who shaped tattoo culture in India and his work has been documented on the BBC. He is one of the first artists to endorse any sort of international tattooing products in the India. He successfully runs a chain of tattoo studios under the brand name KRAAYONZ STUDIOS which has 4 branches across the country and thousands of loyal followers.

Mukesh Waghela
Moksha Tattoo Studio, Goa

Mukesh Waghela is undoubtedly one of the best tattoo artists in Goa; he is famous for his realistic portraits, and classic tribal designs. He is trained from the Thailand Tattoo School, and with over seven years experience, Mukesh today is one of Goa’s leading tattoo artists.

His unique signature style is much sought after by celebrities, both Indian and international. His tattooing style specialities are Japanese, Gothic, Tribal, Maori, custom artworks, cover-ups and much more. His state-of-the-art studio is located in Goa at the Calangute Beach road.

​Kevin Andrade
The Flying Lotus Tattoo and Piercing, Mumbai

Kevin Andrade, born and raised in Mumbai, is the best in bio mechanical tattooing, in India. He absolutely loves tattooing, and has an impressive experience of 9 years and over. For him, tattooing is a part of his life that has given him the opportunity to interact with many wonderful people which has allowed him to experiment with different styles and genres of tattooing.

Kevin believes that his true calling has been the ‘biomechanical’ aspect of tattooing, which is combining movement of the body with mechanical art. His work has also often been referred to as ‘nerdy tribalism’. His process is ‘Design, Compose and Tattoo’.

Kruti Andrade
The Flying Lotus Tattoo and Piercing, Mumbai

Kruti Andrade is a tattoo artist and a mother with dreadlocks. Her tattoo journey started when she first consulted Kevin Andrade for the tattoo she wanted. This episode then thickened into friendship, love and finally marriage. Yes, Kruti is Kevin’s beautiful wife. But that is not all she is known for. Kruti and Kevin work together at their studio The Flying Lotus Tattoo and Piercing.

She is quite a rebel, and a biker. She is breaking stereotypical gender roles with every step she takes professionally and personally.
